Steven Miller lives and maintains a studio both in New York City and in Connecticut. He has exhibited on the national and international level including New York, Los Angeles, London, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Berlin and Cologne.
Miller’s work was recently exhibited in Milan in conjunction with women’s Fashion Week in a “Sensorium”, where his work was projected over and inside of a multi-level plastic bubble while d.j.’s played music and models strutted down the runway. His work has also been featured on “Sex and the City”, and makes nightly appearances in syndication on the hit t.v. sitcom “Fraiser”. His paintings can also be seen in major Hollywood films.
Miller’s paintings are all about saturated color, superb selection of form and the interplay of new technology colliding with classical ideals. His work is in numerous private and public collections including the Bayly Art Museum, the Savannah College of Art & Design Museum, Chase Manhattan Bank, and Walden International, Hong Kong. Miller’s work has been published in conjunction with the Japanese Museum of Contemporary Poetry in Tokyo.
